I’ve always wondered about why quality is so important, especially when it comes to clothing. With the major explosion of “fast-fashion”, clothing quality is unfortunately not what it used to be. Only recently have I noticed this depreciation of quality as I began examining my own clothing and researching more on the fashion industry and how clothing is created.
Of course, I am one to mix and match high-end designers with “fast-fashion” but I’ve come to realize that most of my “fast-fashion” garments, I began to call “disposable clothing”. Naturally, if the price is right, get it. Of course, over time these “disposable” items add up, which is why I truly began to appreciate the quality and detail in designer clothes.
Soon enough I was introduced to the Merino Wool - No Finer Feeling campaign and I immediately grew a genuine interest into learning more. I learned that Australian Merino wool inspires designers. How? Merino wool not only is Merino wool the perfect fibre- natural, biodegradable and renewable but Merino wool is becoming the fibre of choice thanks to it’s performance and natural abilities.
There’s a reason why we cherish our most luxurious clothes. Merino wool inspires designers, and us. Next time you’re shopping, pay attention to the details and see for yourself.
Here’s a video that introduces you to the wonderful world of Merino wool.:
