LA Posh Party

Let me start of this post by saying THANK YOU to everyone who came to support me at my first “co-host” event! Second, THANK YOU to everyone in general…you all are so wonderful and I feel so blessed by reading all your comments and e-mails. You all are my inspiration and I adore you all!

Second, being part of the Poshmark event was such an experience. If you don’t know what I am talking about, then check out the post about Poshmark and the event here. To summarize, Poshmark is a unique shopping app that allows you to sell the clothes you no longer want through your iPhone. You can either use the money you make to shop through the app or cash it out. The best part? You get 80% of the listing price. Pretty amazing.

Now, onto the good stuff! The event was held at the Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills, which is one of my favorite hidden gems in Los Angeles. I was greeted by the AMAZING Poshmark team and was heavily impressed at how much thought and detail went into the decor of the event. I met such LOVELY people and truly had such a lovely time. Thank you to the Poshmark team and all my fellow co-hosts!

Cold Shoulder

I can’t believe it’s a) Friday b) February! This month has gone by so fast! 2012 has started out amazing and I can’t wait to see what else is in store! I hope you’re all loving the new look on Le Fashion Monster!

Today’s post is one of my favorites. I recently was introduced to this amazing new online shopping experience, Little Black Bag. LBB is a new take on “grab bags” where we are allowed to choose one item (any item we want!) at a majorly discounted price. After we do so we get “mystery” items added into our bags. The coolest part about this is not only the amazing designers (Kenneth Cole, Nica, Kenneth Jay Lane, and Gorjana to name a few), but you can “trade” any items you want. I traded salt & pepper shakers for a pair of fabulous sunglasses! The item I chose was the Hype Julien Bag (value $145)! You will see it in this post! I am obsessed! Be sure to check out Little Black Bag! Let me know what you think in comments about the concept!

Another one of my favorite items in this post is my  2b stores studded cold shoulder top.I can’t tell you how much I love this top. I have about several outfits planned around this top (stay tuned). I’ve literally fallen in love with the 2b brand and I am so happy I was introduced. If you haven’t checked out 2b stores, you must! A lot of pieces I’ve worn recently are from them.

Also, I’m wearing my pleated leatherette skirt from Storets and my Zara two-tone pumps which I recently just bought.

I am happy I was able to mix all these fabulous pieces together!

Which piece is your favorite?

Camel Crush

Today was a day filled with errands, but even on a mellow day, I try to dress up. As silly as it sounds, it feels so good being slightly dolled up. I had these jeans for months but rarely wear them but I realized they’re the most comfortable jeans I own. Stretchy and soft, they’re amazing. I am also wearing my tan version of the “Valentina” heels from 2b by bebe; you can see the orange ones worn here. Also in this post, I am wearing my new necklace and wrap bracelet from Stella & Dot (more info in a future post). After discovering this jewelry brand I fell in love! Definitely check the company out, they have amazing pieces.

I hope you’re all having an amazing week :)

Birthday Lace

This past week I celebrated my 26th birthday and it was one of the best I have had. My boyfriend planned many special surprises which included dinner at one of my favorite restaurants; Piccolo in Venice Beach. This outfit was what I wore to dinner.

I wanted to be feminine and colorful, which is why I chose orange as my special hue. I have been dying to wear these 2b by bebe heels ever since I got them. I love the color and the peep-toe.  I also wanted to dip into the neon trend, so my Lulu*s purse added that extra touch of yellow (the trim). The dress I wore is one of my absolute favorites that’s actually been in my wardrobe for two years now!

I hope you’re all liking the new site and I can’t wait to share what’s in store in the very near future! Thank you all for being such amazing readers! I can’t thank you enough :)

Tangerine Tango

It’s official, my orange crush has got me in a twist! I’m all about the trendy tangerine. Pantone revealed the colour of 2012; Tangerine Tango. It’s a luscious reddish-orange colour that get me real excited to wear. Lucky for me, Spring collections have been bursting with this juicy hue and if the rumors are true, Fall will continue to utilize the trendy tangerine.

I incorporated the colour into my most recent look and paired it with a wild factor: leopard accessories. The dress, from Lulu*s really caught my eye and the title of this fierce frock; Darling Deneuve Red Dress. The color and unique fabric really drew me in and the one thing that basically was my “icing on the cake”: the leopard belt. I love pairing bold juicy colours with a touch of animal print. It really just takes an outfit up a notch.

One of the items in this look that really gets me excited are my leopard print “Catherine” pumps from Sole Society. I have been obsessing over these heels for a month as I had been hunting a pair of medium height leopard pointy heels for months! Also, if you don’t remember, I am one of the Fashion Insider’s this January for Sole Society, you can view the post here. Anyhow…I am extremely happy to have found these dreams shoes, and I’m 100% serious when I say…these are the most comfortable heels ever!
