Golden Rule

Before I delve into details about this post, let me just say how much I really adore Bakers Shoes. I have collaborated with them on a few projects and never have I felt so connected with a brand. As a consumer, it’s important to know how wonderful and customer-oriented a brand is…and Bakers Shoes is truly one of the most generous and creative companies I have worked with. I can’t thank them enough for their faith and constant support they have for my blog. So, a quick THANK YOU to Bakers Shoes!

As you may recall, I recently did a post about their Wild Pair Spring collection. I selected my favorite pair (which was hard to do) and styled it two ways (here). This post is probably one of my favorites, which happens to incorporate the “Jessica” wedge.

I’ve always loved the combination of black and gold, it’s classic!

Cool Blue

Today’s post features one of my favorite new dresses. This Forever 21 number is so flowy and feminine and I have a feeling this will be put to some good use! I love icy cold blue hues with silver. I think the combination is so perfect!

Cobalt Colorblock

Good news! I’ve finished my first semester of graduate school and it’s such an incredible feeling! With that being said, I’ve thrown on my blue suede shoes, and I’m ready to dance to the blues…

Just a quick special shout out to Baker’s Shoes for these amazing cobalt heels that I’ve been lusting for. I can’t wait to show them off more :) .

This outfit is inspired by the color-block trend as well as the floral trend…a nice mix of colors and print :) .

Playing with Colors

I have a serious obsession with my hot pink blazer. You can see it in previous posts here and here.

I also have worn this lace dress before (here) and I decided to incorporate the two. With the inspiration of my fellow bloggers, I’ve really began to embrace color-blocking. I color-blocked with my blazer, shoes and accessories to do something that was uniquely…me!

I’m really loving the orange and pink together! What do you think?

Black & Yellow

Nope, I’m not going to start flowing to “Black & Yellow” but I am flowing in my high-low skirt. This skirt has been sitting in my closet for almost six months, so I finally found a piece that was complimentary & unique to go with it. The neon bustier I’m wearing is from my online store (pre-launch) Sugar and Sequins and it’s probably my favorite item from the store (be sure to sign up on the site for a big discount when we go LIVE). I have about seven ways I plan on wearing it, but you’ll have to wait and see for those looks!

Also, I was gifted this GORGEOUS bangle set from Melinda Maria jewelry. I don’t think I’ve taken them off as they go perfect with my gold rush “arm swag”. The bangles, which are each different, but so complimentary of each other, are quite possibly my newest jewelry addiction. If you haven’t checked out Melinda Maria jewelry, I would suggest you do so. Every item is swoon-worthy.

I’m also wearing my Stella & Dot necklace which has been my go-to pendant necklace as it adds that perfect sparkle to any outfit.
